All Mountain MTB Adventures

Our approach

Our quality and approach

We focus on making each trip we do an amazing experience. Perfect flowing singletrack, epic backcountry rides, great food and wine and beautiful places to stay.

Ride All-Mountain

Our trips include some of the best classic flowing trails in the world, great views, backcountry routes and natural rocky technical terrain. Many of our rides require a sense of adventure and peddling climbs to get to unspoilt trails, but this pays off big-time as we emerge on high ridges and fly down the natural descents. We provide uplift assisted riding on most days so that on average we descend 2000-3000m each day and climb only 500-1000m. A typical day is 40-50km.

Stay - Relax - Taste

Monforte hotel 1

We stay at truly idyllic accommodation: beautiful locations, clean and comfortable. Good facilities for bike storage and cleaning, delicious breakfasts and excellent coffee to start the day. Depending on the trip, we stay at chalets, deluxe hotels, simple mountain retreats, all in beautiful locations. We try to select places that are surrounded by mountain views, meadows, and natural woodland, off-the beaten track, in a charming village or small bike friendly town.

We build in time to relax, enjoy the views, cafes, restaurants, villages, lakes, waterfalls, rivers, wildlife, and coast. Plus you can go at your own pace, not everyone wants to ride every day - its up to you. In fact, because of the routes we take, and the quality of the places we stay at, some partners choose to come along just to relax and explore.

We are passionate about authentic French and Italian food. All of our trips have great local food and wine as a main ingredient. We know the best mountain-side restaurants and often organise wine and food tasting evenings as part the trip.

Our Guides

Our Professional, Fully Qualified Team of Guides

Living in the Alps, we have managed to bring together a great, fully qualified, professional set of guides for our trips. Some of them have ridden competitively at world class level. All of them are great riders and skills coaches. They know the trails intimately and take you to the hidden backcountry trails featured on our trips. They have an incredible knowledge of the French and Italian Alps. And at the same time they are fun to ride with and help you get the best out of yourselves and the trails.

bike hire logos

High quality, new model All Mountain and Trail bikes are included for hire in the price of the trip. These bikes are carefully and professionally set-up and maintained to a high standard by our excellent partner bike shop in the Alps. A typical bike would be the Lapierre Zesty, a great bike for most of our trips, light and strong with 140mm suspension and designed for All Mountain riding.

With our wide network of bike shop contacts, we can help arrange for most top brands to be rented. A Santacruz Blur LT or a 69er bike would be great choices for the Alps. We can help you rent these and other bikes from the shops in the surrounding areas, although only the rental from our partner shop is included in the trip price.

Culture Velo - our partner shop in the Alps

Lapiere & Yeti

Two of our team, Celine and Loic, run this very high quality shop, a very friendly and knowledgeable team, one of the most professional and successful bike shops in the Alps. Celine and Loic can arrange your bike hire, set up the bike to your weight and adjustments as required. They have a good stock of bikes, tyres and high quality equipment. On trips that start in Geneva we go directly to the shop to collect bikes.

On some of our trips we also have access to other new demo bikes, so if you are interested in trying something different, then call us to discuss this option.
